Cuba has several well-equipped conference centers with all the facilities needed for holding congresses, fairs, exhibits or business meetings.  Most of the four- and five-star hotels—which constitute 40 percent of all the hotels in the country—also have conference facilities.

Conference facilities include Havana’s International Conference Center and Capitol; the Plaza América Conference Center, in Varadero; and the Heredia Theater Conference Center, in Santiago de Cuba.  All are known for their many facilities and for the efficient work of their staffs.  Most fairs and exhibits are held at EXPOCUBA, PABEXPO and the International Agricultural Park.  Other conference centers include Ortop and the La Pradera International Health Center, which are associated with the world of medicine.
